Several people have asked if I would include written instructions to my how-to videos, so...I'm giving it a try! Let's see how this goes. :)
You will need:
~ a strip of cardstock measuring 8.5" long by 1" wide (any color -- it isn't going to be seen when all is said and done)
~ 10 - 12 squares of heavyweight paper (cardstock or other strong paper). These can be any color you choose.
~ a glue of your choice (I use Elmer's Purple Disappearing glue stick, but have also used Fabri-tac in the past and it works for this, too)
Process:
Mark a line down the center length of the long piece of cardstock. Don't worry, this won't be seen. It will, however, help you line up your squares (see Photo 1).
Place one square so that two points align on the line. Glue it down (see Photo 1).
Place a second square in a similar fashion, overlapping the first square by half and glue it down (see Photo 2).
Continue down the length of your cardstock strip until you have reached the end (See Photo 3).
Trim the corners of the cardstock so they can't be seen (Photo 4 - back view; Photo 5 - front view).
Uses:
~ attach to the edge of a page as a decorative trim
~ attach to a belly band as decoration
Embellishing: You can leave as it is or add a long, skinny flower or other embellishment as you wish. Play and have fun!
